An elegant and masculine early 19th century French Empire period flame mahogany and gilt brass-mounted commode retaining its original black French Saint Anne marble top. Decorated with neoclassical motifs, the facade framed by caryatid-shaped pilasters and standing on lions' paws feet, the book-matched mahogany nicely faded over time.
