A small, 19th century French Louis XV style rosewood and rouge marble-topped commode fitted with fine gilt brass mounts. Of good proportions and excellent workmanship, as seen in the fine 'basket weave' parquetry-inlaid front and sides. Retaining the original marble and finishes.
