An 18th century French Louis XVI period solid cherrywood 'Buffet Trois Quarts', denoting a taller than usual buffet. The simple facade decorated with haut-relief carved floral, foliate and bird motifs. Note the delicate play of light on the crisp carvings. Condition report: In excellent and un-restored condition. The cherrywood well-burnished and with excellent patina. Some old repair work.
