An 18th century French Louis XVI period solid cherrywood 'Buffet Trois Quarts', denoting a taller than usual buffet. The simple facade decorated with haut-relief carved floral, foliate and bird motifs. Note the delicate play of light on the crisp carvings. Click here and on here to view other photos of this buffet.
Condition report: In excellent and un-restored condition. The cherrywood well-burnished and with excellent patina. Some old repair work.
